Cindy Sullivan Obituary, Death – Cindy Lee Sullivan Dies at 62 in Missouri
Cindy Lee Sullivan, a longtime resident of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, in Willow Springs, according to her obituary published by Yarber Mortuary. She was 62.
Born on December 9, 1963, in St. Louis County, Missouri, Cindy grew up in Kirkwood, where she completed her schooling before beginning a career as a police dispatcher. In 1984, she met John Sullivan, a police officer, and the two married in November of that year.
Remembering Cindy Lee Sullivan
Cindy and John eventually moved to Howell County before settling at their home near Mountain View. She developed a deep love for the Ozarks and devoted herself to her family and home.
She was the mother of two daughters, Audrey Jo and Katherine, and also became a stepmother and close friend to Alexandra and Dee. Her family was an important part of her life, and she remained involved in her daughters’ school activities while supporting the Liberty Eagles.
Cindy also had a strong compassion for animals. According to her obituary, she rescued animals and over the years cared for dogs, cats, and other animals at the family property. She later worked in retail sales in the Willow Springs area.
Cindy Sullivan’s Final Years
In 2024, the family farm was struck by an F3 tornado. During the cleanup that followed, Cindy became ill and was subsequently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
With the support of her family, she continued to spend time with her loved ones and was able to share two more Christmases and approximately 18 months of family life before her death.
Cindy is survived by her husband, John, her daughters Katherine and Audrey Jo Cameron, stepchildren Dee Evans and Alexandra Mills, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family also highlighted her special grandson, Zachary Sullivan, who returned home to help his grandparents during her final year.
At Cindy’s request, she will be laid to rest beside her mother-in-law, Audrey, at Grace Cemetery in Mountain View in a private graveside service. Arrangements were handled by Yarber Mortuary in Mountain View.
Cindy Sullivan will be remembered by her family and loved ones for her devotion to those around her, her love of the Ozarks, her care for animals, and the years she shared with the people closest to her.
